Healing Properties was founded in 2002 by Timothy Schnellenberger. At a year and a half of sobriety, he fulfilled a dream that he had tried to achieve multiple times in pre-sobriety but, as a result of alcoholism and drug addiction, he failed to realize. He had been a real estate salesman since he was 18 years old and his dream was to own investment properties.
As he planned his purchase, he came to realize Delray Beach was becoming the sober living capital of the world. Given the fact that he had spent significant time in many different halfway houses and sober living communities throughout his addiction, he felt opening a halfway house would be a wonderful way to meld two of his loves; Real Estate and Sobriety.

Since 2002, Healing Properties Florida Halfway House and Sober Living in Delray Beach’s mission has been to provide a safe, clean and healthy halfway house for men recovering from the disease of alcoholism/addiction. We are dedicated to assisting our halfway house residents in every way possible to achieve a productive and successful livelihood while at Healing Properties Sober Living.
