What is the Joint Commission? The Joint Commission is considered the best of the best in terms of global health care. In 1951, the organization was founded, striving to “continuously improve health care for the public by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value.”

The Florida Department of Children and Families, otherwise known as the DCF, was founded in 1996. The original concept of its kind started as the Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services and the Florida Department of Health. The overall end goal for these services was to provide healthcare to Florida residents and healthcare organizations that offerthose similar types of services. At Healing Properties, we're one of those licensed in the area of addiction treatment.

The National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) traces its addiction treatment origins to the early years following the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). NAATP’s mission “is to provide leadership, advocacy, training, and member support services to ensure the availability and highest quality of addiction treatment.” NAATP most values comprehensive, residential, abstinence-based 12 Step recovery programs. So does Recovery Boot Camp. That’s why we’re an accredited member of NAATP. And why we have been since our inception.

LegitScript was originally founded as a verification and monitoring service for online pharmacies. It remains the only such organization recognized by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). After its tremendous success in identifying “rogue” internet pharmacies, LegitScript expanded its rigorous vetting process to include addiction treatment providers. Now LegitScript is the only certification and monitoring service for drug and alcohol addiction treatment providers used by both Google and Facebook. Why did Recovery Boot Camp receive LegitScript Addiction Treatment Certification? Because we’ve been fully vetted and duly recognized as a safe and legal recovery facility.

The Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association (FADAA) is a non-profit membership association that has been representing substance abuse prevention and treatment providers, managing entities, and community anti-drug coalitions since 1981. FADAA's stated mission is to advance addiction and co-occurring treatment, prevention, and research through communications professional development and public policy leadership. FADAA is part of the Healthcare Division of the Florida Behavioral Health Association (FBHA), which provides leadership on policy issues affecting Florida businesses providing prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts to their clients and communities. All treatment center members must first be licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families, then pass a thorough vetting process from long-time FADAA-FBHA members. That’s how Recovery Boot Camp became a Full Agency Member of FADAA.
