Rapper RAHKY and Sexy Sweats Nabbed in Alabama
Looks like Fetty Wap won’t be serving as a cautionary tale after all. Not yet anyway. Because within a week of the former chart-topper being sentenced to six years, a rapper gal named RAHKE and her influencer pal dipped their fair hands into a big batch of baking soda’s best friend. And what did the two daring gals get in return? Caught, that’s what. Possessing over 200 pounds of premium cocaine.
According to KTLA, which apparently got the story from Mobile Bay’s Lagniappe, a tag team made up of members of the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Border Patrol nabbed the women on Interstate 10 in Mobile County, Alabama. The Sheriff’s Office said the pair were driving from Houston to Atlanta in a Ford Expedition that had been outfitted with “hidden compartments.” Inside those compartments police found a reported 217 pounds of cocaine valued at about $3 million.
As of June 1st, the the two were being held at Mobile County Metro Jail on cocaine trafficking charges. However, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is reportedly attempting to take the women into custody in order to charge them at the federal level.

Just who are RAHKY and Sexy Sweats anyway? Well, RAHKY is apparently a “Singer/Songwriter” from Van Nuys, California. The MBSO arrest report has her booked as Racquelle Dolores Anteola. We imagine she was born with that name too. The, er, generously-proportioned 34-year-old’s Instagram page indicates a fondness for showing her own skin. It also hypes an EP entitled “Don’t Take it Personal.”
Playing Louise to RAHKY’s Thelma is one Melissa Dufour, a 36-year-old entrepreneur and influencer from Miramar, Florida. Dufour, who goes by the IG handle @melimacbarbie_, is the owner and creative designer of a line called Sexy Sweats. Our gal Mel also claims to be the “Definition of a Female Hustla! 🤑”
We sure hope that’s not true though. Because if the “definition of a female hustla” means getting nabbed in Alabama with a couple hundred pounds of narcotics, there soon won’t be too many female hustlas left.

Seriously though. These creatives appeared to be serious about their respective careers. So the question then becomes what compelled them to make such a catastrophically ill-advised move?
Dumb question. Three million dollars is a lot of temptation, for anyone. It’s even more for a couple creatives who just might fear nearing their shelf life. After all, folks generally don’t get to be the Next Big Thing once they reach their mid-30s. More importantly perhaps, by that time those seeking to be the Next Big Thing also tend to run out of drive.
Hence the ill-fated road trip from Houston to Atlanta. Let’s hope it’s not the last drive of their lives.
It Ain’t Worth It
Healing Properties isn’t quite sure just how much time RAHKY and Sexy Sweats are facing. Heck, we don’t even know whether or not the gals are guilty. A quick check of the DEA’s sentencing guidelines though, doesn’t bode well. In fact, from what we can glean, each are looking at sentences that’ll range either from 5 to 40 years or 10 to life. And that’s if these are First Offenses!
Remember, Fetty Wap only pleaded guilty to conspiracy and still got six years Fed Time. Yes, like RAHKE and Sexy Sweats, it concerned 500 grams or more of cocaine. Unlike the Alabama incident though, Fetty Wap wasn’t caught driving dirty.
In other words, if RAHKE and Sexy Sweats are indeed guilty, and consequently adjudicated as such, they won’t be making any pool parties in L.A. or Miami for a good long while. Their respective careers will have to hiatus as well. That’s if they’ll even have respective careers. While notoriety might end-up putting RAHKE and Sexy Sweats on the map for a hot minute; that map will likely be illegible before they’ll be back around to take advantage of the hype.
That is to say, there aren’t enough poses in all of creation to turn this into a pretty picture.
Folks, please, think twice before taking the drug plunge. Better yet, think three, four, five times. Then think again. Because it ain’t worth it.
